We were willing to pay top dollar for the best quality work with the best material. However, we are still very unhappy about the work done around the window. The unresolved problem is the two clapboards next to the window. The problem with the boards is that the rough side of the boards is exposed. We do not accept the rough boards as a respectable finished product and we have complained about this many times, verbally and in writing. The last two times were by email on June 4 and June 8.

The project manager promised us that he would resolve the problem. He said the boards only needed to be sanded down.
